Thebarebase was founded by two sisters - Dew and Victoria Olowonubi.

We had a conversation on how shaving gives bump/ingrowns and how frustrating it is, we wanted to get away from shaving and go all naturalle.

We could never find the time to go to the spa to get sugared either

Once we discovered how effective sugaring is and how long it takes for a new hair growth, we had the idea to create the sugarwaxkit for people like us, Hence the birth of thebarebase.

We spent a year researching and perfecting our recipe, being the first and only sugarwaxkit company in Africa we had to go through safety check and warranty check.
